Do you charge sales tax?
We are required by law to collect tax in Minnesota, Virginia and Nevada.
What is your return policy?
To return an item(s) it must be sent in its original packaging, complete and in saleable condition. Products cannot be altered. If the product has been altered, the product will not be accepted for an exchange or return. If the product is not returned in its original packaging, a 20% restocking fee may apply. NewYorkMint.com reserves the right to refuse credit, or exchange of any item(s) returned incomplete, or in a non-saleable condition due to negligence, damage, and/or abuse. All documents included with the product must be returned. All returns over $500 must include a Return Authorization Number. This number can be obtained from our Customer Service Department. How do I sign in?
To sign in from any page on the site enter your username (email address)
and password in the Log In area on the right hand side of the page. Click
on LOGIN on top of Webpage to log into account.
To sign out click the "Logout" button located in the website header.
If you share your computer with other people, you may want to "Logout"
before leaving your computer. This assures that no one else will be able
to use your NewYorkMint.com account.
What if I forget my password?
If you click on the "Login" button located in the website header, this will bring up the page that
has "Forgot Your Password" located in the Registered Customers section. Click the "Forgot Your Password" link and this allows you to enter your email address. You must
fill in the "Email Address" field so that our system can look up your account.
Click the SEND NOW button and we will then email your password to your registered email address immediately.
I'm having problems with my user name/password.
User names (e-mail addresses) and passwords are case sensitive so make sure
you enter them in the same upper and lower case manner in which you set
up your original account. If the site gives you an error message when you
enter the user name and/or password you should check your spelling carefully
and if you continue to have difficulty you may try changing your usage of

How do I upgrade shipping?
Nearly all of our packages are shipped for 3 to 7 business-day delivery; some orders may take up to 10 days. Please note that a few large, heavy or factory-direct items will be shipped by truck.
After an item has been added to the "Shopping Basket," you may select the shipping method. If an upgrade shipping method is available it will be found in a drop down under the shipping method heading. All shipping charges will display in checkout on the "Submit Order" page. Please note that shipping upgrades may not be available for all addresses.
How do I ship to another person?
From the shopping basket you use the pull-down menu titled "Ship To" and enter the address you wish to ship your order to.
What about credit card fraud?

While we provide an unsurpassed level of customer service, we simply cannot provide quotes to customers regarding their coin collections through our website.
What are your Terms and Conditions?

These Terms and Conditions govern this and any other transactions between Customer and New York Mint and supersede any oral or written statement made by New York Mint or any agent of New York Mint prior to this transaction. Customer shall not rely on any statement which is inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Grades and descriptions of rare coins are opinions, not statements of fact or guarantees, and are based on standards and interpretations that can and do change over time. New York Mint uses contemporary grading standards and interpretations to grade coins, or relies upon the opinions of grading services such as PCGS and NGC. New York Mint does not guarantee that the coins it sells will achieve the same grades from New York Mint itself, PCGS, NGC or any other grading service in the future.
3. New York Mint guarantees that the rare coins and other items it sells are genuine. New York Mint expressly disclaims any other warranties with respect to coins or other items express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
4. Customer has the right to return any coin or other item purchased from New York Mint within 30 days of the invoice date, except for coins removed from their original packaging. In no event shall New York Mint’s liability to Customer exceed refund or replacement of the coin in question.
5. Customer acknowledges that the rare coin market is speculative, unregulated and volatile, and that coin prices may rise or fall over time. New York Mint does not guarantee that any Customer buying for investment purposes will be able to sell for a profit in the future. While New York Mint may voluntarily make an offer to repurchase items from Customer, New York Mint is under no legal obligation to make such an offer, and New York Mint does not guarantee to make a market in the items it sells.
6. Customer agrees that any legal action with respect to this transaction is barred unless commenced within one (1) year of the invoice date in a state or federal court located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Customer (a) consents to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the Minneapolis courts; (b) waives any right to trial by jury in any such proceeding; and (c) agrees that the prevailing party in any action shall be entitled to recover its costs, including attorney's fees, from the non-prevailing party.
